Since 2002, MoezArt has been presenting quality youth theatre around the valley. With the exception of the Community Theatre, all MoezArt Production classes are for home schooled students and meet once a week. Families can use our classes as a fine arts credit for their student’s high school transcript. They are arranged by semester. Classes can be taken multiple times either for the same credit or with an altered, more advanced curriculum to fulfill another scholastic requirement.
The goals for this class are to encourage the children (5-9 years of age [10-18 are in the middle and high school classes]) to GLORIFY Jesus through the gifts and talents He’s given them, to help the children find JOY in doing theatre, to PREPARE YOUNGER children to enter the MoezArt middle school program, and to have a BLAST doing it!
In the Fall of 2008 Sharon and Steve Rodriguez opened a community theater branch of MoezArt to provide theater opportunities for college aged students and adults. Meeting with much success, we continue to provide an average of four community theater shows per year, both musical and non-musical. MoezArt gives adults a place to use their gifts to glorify God through the arts.
Each summer MoezArt provides two week drama camps for kids ages 10 to 14. Our camps combine fun games, skill-building and a short production to give each child a chance to experience drama. Students make friends, learn about costumes, props and sets, and work in teams! Come join us for some artistic summer fun!
Specialty Classes and Intensives
Throughout the school year MoezArt provides specialty classes in dance, acting and the technical aspects of theater. Each class or intensive is specifically geared to increase knowledge and ability in one area, and to provide in-depth, specific instruction for the students that enroll.
